A memory of holidays
The last photo of the day for me was another reason for visiting the West Somerset Railway and the Diesel Gala on the Friday as it again offered the opportunity to see a pair of hydraulics together, bringing back childhood memories of holidays in the West Country.
Here, the visiting DTG Class 52 D1015 Western Champion pilots the resident DEPG Hymek D7018 with the train crew ready to hand over the token at Williton before heading for Minehead and the seaside. Sadly, the sun didn't play ball.
