The Arrival

PS Waverley arrives at Ilfracombe Pier on it's excursion from Clevedon. Built in 1946, PS Waverley is the last seagoing passenger-carrying paddle steamer in the world. Bought by the Paddle Steamer Preservation Society (PSPS) for £1 from Calmac who were keen that she was preserved, she has been restored to her 1947 appearance and now operates passenger excursions around the British coast.
